Be water’s depth or the majestic skies,
What twinkles brighter than the Heavens’ dyes?
A leader to the lost in shadowed seas and woods
That gasp with ghastly ghosts foreseen in leaves
That hide away from lamp in light of good.
But blinking burns bring bushes of a paint
That may summon the sky in glor’ous view
And point, with written figures, th’path of saints
So never seen by all and walked by few.
The violence of danger gives serenity
To those who learn of Truth and may believe
What orbs of might may show with lenity.
In deeds that may consume, take stare above
To sight the lights that pardon all with love.
