Beneath the placid clouds, I eyed her walk:
A girl of beauty and of gentle talk.
While others burned through surface smiles and tears,
She held me under stars and drowned my soul
In passion’s ocean deep, without such fears.
With her, the sky be my domain
And clouds my royal camel of a passage
Through tyranny of life and all its pain,
Relinquished by a touch of love embassag’d.
For every heartful piece so roughly shattered,
Her hands, her lips, hath kept and held me whole
Where vileful life would hope to leave me battered.
The day I eyed her being, music played
With forests’ windy song, where trees hath swayed.
